BON HOMME COMMUNITY EASTER CANTATA SCHEDULE

By

The Bon Homme Community Easter Cantata is making final preparations for this years performances. This will be the 80th consecutive year of presenting the Easter story to communities in the area. The first Cantata was organized in 1939 by Harlan Moen who was Avon School principal.

With a mixed variety of songs and singers from communities in South Dakota and Nebraska, the Cantata has become a highlight of the Easter season.

The Cantata being presented is "Sacred places " by Joseph Martin and directed by Autumn Schultz. Inspired by Early American Folk songs we will journey along with Christ. Sacred are the places that were witness to the life and works of the Savior.

April 14th: First Baptist Church Avon

April 16th: St. John's Catholic Church Wagner
