LifeServe Blood Center, the sole supplier of blood products to more than 120 hospitals in South Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska, is asking for donors to help with the blood supply. It doesn’t take a tragedy for hospital patients in the area to need blood donations to survive. Every day, local hospital patients need blood transfusions to survive. The only way cancer patients, premature babies, transplant recipients, and other patients can receive blood is when a generous donor rolls up their sleeve!
