After a long lay off due to weather the Bon Homme-Avon wrestlers got back on the mat hosting a dual against Parkston January 19. Going into this dual, the wrestlers had limited practices, and it was a little concerning just due to the fact there was not much time to prepare. At the end of the day the wrestlers took care of business 42-23. As a team they are wrestling well and understand that each time they step on the mat they need to do their job which is huge if this team wants to make the state dual tournament. Rolling into the weekend the wrestlers made the trip to Winner January 20 placing third as a team. It was long day of tough wrestling taking some hard losses, but at the same time picking up some good wins. Anything can happen in a wrestling match good or bad, the key is to make the right adjustments to keep getting better each time they step on the mat. There is a lot of work to do going forward.
