The Bon Homme County4-H Recognition Event was held on Sunday afternoon, October 16th, at the 4-H Center in Tyndall in conjunction with their annual Soup Kitchen.

Sophia Schott kicked off the eventasourguestspeaker.She is a senior 4-H member, in the Tabor Pioneers Club, Jr Leaders and active in the Rabbit and Poultry Group. Sophia highlighted her time at Teen LeadershipCampthissummer and also played her violin solo.

OutstandingMemberswere recognized for their accomplishments in 4-H. The Outstanding Beginner went to Breaw Neth, Scotland, and the OutstandingSeniorwasSophie Schott, Scotland, sponsored by The Bargain Shoppe. The Oustanding 1st Year Member Award went to Whitley Wolf, Avon and the Outstanding MemberAwardwenttoSophia Schott. They received checks for each award.

The4-HLeadersAssociation selectsabusinessorindividual to receive the Friend of 4-H Awardeachyear. FirstDakota National Bank was selected to receive this award for their continued support in the 4-H program and contributions to the 4-H building.
