BARGAIN SHOPPE DONATIONS
In February the Bargain Shoppe gave $500 to the Bon Homme High School After Prom Organization and $200 each to the Avon and Scotland After Prom Organizations. In March the Tyndall Fire Department was given $3,000 and Avon, Springfield, Scotland and Tabor Fire Departments received $2,000 each.
The Bargain Shoppe is a non-profit thrift store rim totally by volunteers. The volunteers log an average of 250 to 300 hours a month to keep the Shoppe running. The store hours are Wednesday’s 10-4, Thursday’s 3-6 and the second Saturday of each month 9-12. Donations of gently used, clean items can be dropped off during business hours only.
Volunteers are needed to help transport items the Shoppe cannot use to other sources that have recycling ability. Please consider helping this organization that has helped so many other organizations in Bon Homme County.
