AWANA CLUB TO HOLD 'TRICK OR TREAT SO OTHERS CAN EAT'

By
Students from the Awana Club at First Baptist Church in Avon will be participating in an event called “Trick or Treat so Others can Eat” Wednesday, October 25. On that night between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. they will be going around town collecting items to be given to the Bon Homme Food Pantry in Tyndall. The Bon Homme Food Pantry provides food and other necessary items at no charge to those who may not otherwise be able to afford them. Suggested items are non-perishable food items, paper products such as paper towels and toilet tissue, and toiletry items such as toothpaste, soap, and shampoo. If you have items you would like them to pick up please have a light on at your door during that time. If you would like to donate items but cannot be home at that time you may leave them in the entry of the church anytime that day. We are grateful to all that donated items last year to make it a very successful event and hope that we can bless people in need again this year.
