On defense, the back row kept rallies alive with a solid performance—Jordyn Voigt recorded a team-high 13 digs, followed closely by Thury with 12 and Kaydence Metzger with 11. Brielle Voigt contributed all around, notching 2 ace serves and running the offense with 15 set assists on the night. JV Match Results: Avon won the second set but couldn’t maintain momentum, falling 18-25, 25-13, 7-15. C Team Match: A close first set slipped away in extra points, followed by a loss in the second set, ending 24-26, 14-25. The Avon Lady Pirates delivered a clean 3-0 sweep over the visiting Scotland Lady Highlanders on September 18th. With energy and control on both sides of the ball, Avon took command early and never let up, securing the win in straight sets.
