The Avon Pirates hit the road for their first game of the season, traveling to Colome to face the Cowboys on Friday, August 19.

The game leader in rushing yards was senior, Jaden Stahl with six carries and 94 yards. Senior, Cade Faulkner had one touchdown and ran for 72 yards. Junior, Paxton Bierema made it into the end zone three times with a total of 53 yards on the night.

Leading the Pirates defensively was senior, Kley Heumiller with 11.5 tackles. The Pirates face the Burke Bulldogs at home this Friday, with kick off at 7:00 p.m. Come out and cheer the Pirates on during Homecoming week!
