It is definitely an exciting week to be a Pirate! Homecoming is a tradition that is extra special in a small town. Our student athletes have a busy week with home volleyball games on Tuesday and Thursday and of course the football game on Friday. I have seen many of you stopping by to pick up your activity tickets at the office. Let’s fill the gym and the football stands this week! We invite everybody to the Homecoming skits in the gym on Friday at 8:15. It is great to watch the students show off their Pirate pride. The Homecoming parade is Friday at 1:30. This is a great opportunity to advertise your business or organization while at the same time showing your support for our student body. If you have never entered before, let this be the year! The theme is Nickelodeon. Call or email the school with your entry. Just a reminder for those of you entered in the parade, please do not throw candy from your vehicle. If you have candy, the teachers will walk up and get it. Immediately after the parade there will be tours of the school. Come and see all the remodeling that has been done in the classrooms. If you can’t make it after the parade, please contact me and I would be happy to show you the school at another time. You are always welcome to come visit! I’m looking forward to this week and the memories it will make for our student body and community.
