AVON HIGH SCHOOLERS EARN BOWLING PARTY
On January 28, the freshmen through seniors went to Yankton’s Bowl Family Fun Center for their Christmas party from the school. The high school is allowed to play two games for free and then, if they want to play more games, they have to pay for the extra games themselves.
At the bowling alley, there is an arcade game area, and normally the high school students play them after their bowling games are over while they wait for other high school students.
Their normal ritual was to eat lunch at Pizza Ranch following bowling but, due to a death in the Pizza Ranch family, other plans had to be made. So, the juniors and seniors went to McDonald’s, and the freshmen and sophomores went to Burger King.
After lunch, the students went back to the school and they had a small dodgeball tournament in the main gym until the end of school. With an early dismal day scheduled, the students were done at 1:30.
