The Annual Avon Volunteer Fire Department Appreciation Night was held Saturday, July 22nd with a meal followed by water fights and a street dance featuring Dustin Evans and the Good Times Band. Earning 1st place again this year was, (top left photo) Brady Petrik, Mike Petrik and Matthew Petrik. Second place winners (photo to left) was the team of Jarod Myer, Casey Sassaman and Brian Janssen. Third place was won by the Dante Fire Department. Among those serving the meal of pork loin sandwiches, baked beans and potato salad were Brandon Baade, Casey Sassaman and Julia Sassaman. Photos by Jenna Petrik
