The Avon High School Drama Club traveled to Brandon on Friday, February 6 to compete at the SDHSAA State One Act Play Festival — and came home with outstanding results. The group brought home several awards from the event. Abby Gretschmann was recognized with a Superior Individual Actor award. The remainder of the cast received Superior Ensemble, and the production itself earned the honor of Superior Play. Congratulations to these talented students and directors on representing Avon so well on the state stage. And thank you to everyone who supported the Drama Club throughout their One Act journey this year — your encouragement makes a difference!
