Avon Drama Club competed in the Region One Act Play competition Wednesday, January 17th in Mitchell. They secured 2nd place with their performance of “Booby Trap” and advance on to the State One Act Festival which will be held in Brandon Valley February 1st-3rd. They performed a matinee Sunday, January 21st for the community. Those earning a Superior Acting Award from the region competition were Noah Watchorn, Caleb Wallinga and Kate Swier.
