Avon and Springfield EMTs will be attending a training Monday night, February 13th for South Dakota EMS: Telemedicine in Motion. EMS is a new program designed to provide telemedicine services to EMS agencies throughout the state of South Dakota. Participating agencies will be installing an iPad in the back of their ambulance which will allow them to call and interact with doctors and nurses while in transit.
