Kimberly Tolsma has been involved in volleyball for six years.Shehasbeeninvolleyballsincethesixthgradeplaying many varying positions. Kim is a senior, and plays middle and outside hitter on varsity. Her most notable moment this season is getting to play lots of different positions. She says the most important game from the season so far was the AC/ DC game. They went into five sets, and as a team, they were mentally strong enough to come out on top with the win.

Before every game, the team listens to music while getting ready and before entering the court they pray. Kimmy describes her team as, “having little varsity experience from last year, however this year, we are very talented.” She stated that, “When we play together great things happen.” Kimmy says that people think volleyball is an easy sport where you just bump, set, and spike, but there is so much more to volleyball. You have to be in the game at all times, and make quick decisions that could cost you a point. Kimmy encourages everyone to be as involved as possible because you will never get a second chance to play high school sports again.
