Avon Archery Team, along with their Coaches Troy Soukup and Chuck Zacharias, have begun practice for the season. The 15 archers from grades six through twelve practice every Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. trying to acquire the mandatory ten hours of practice necessary to compete at the State Archery Competition on April 1, in Spearfish, SD.

When asked about skills necessary to participate in archery, junior Cody Soukup said, “I don’t know…we just shoot!”
