The annual Uecker picnic was held on June 27 at the Wagner City Park. With this being the 100^th Anniversary of the event, there was a nice crowd of descendents of Charles and Louise Uecker. They had seven children: William, Mabel Thaler, Pearl Jerke, Lonnie, Harry, Melvin and LaVerne. They were blessed with 33 grandchildren, 24 of them still living. Seventeen attended the picnic.

The first picnic in June of 1921 was held in Mitchell and has been held in various locations ever since. It had been held at the Wagner Lake until this year and will go back to the City Park for the 2022 event. Each year, one of the families serve as host of the event.

It has been a wonderful time for a lot of us and knowing our cousins has been a blessing.

The 2022 picnic will be held June 26^th at the City Park-hope to see you there!
