ANDES CENTRAL SENIOR SPOTLIGHT

By

This week’s featured Andes Central Senior is Riata Bultje. Riata is the daughterofBriceandDarci Bultje. She has two younger sisters at Andes Central, Emery and Marin. During her high school years, Riata has been involved in volleyball, track, FFA, FCCLA, band, choir and National Honor Society. Riata has been very active in the community and volunteered her time working with Meals of Hope, Feeding SD and cleaning up trash on the wildlife refuge. Turkey gravy with mashed potatoes is Riata’s favorite school lunch. Riata’s favorite class is Botany with Mr. DeNeui. Botany was never boring and they learned a lot of very interesting and useful information about plants.

The advice that Riata has for Andes Central underclassmen would be that it really is easy to get good grades, but it takes getting your work done on time. Riata’s favorite memory was All-State Choir. It was a fun experience and there was a lot of laughter. When her time at Andes Central comes to an end, Riata will most miss being a part of the FFA chapter. In her free time, Riata enjoys listening to music, painting and working cattle.

After graduation, Riata plans to attend college and major in agriculture education. The most influential people in Riata’s life would be her parents. They have showed her how to work hard. If she could meet anyone living or deceased, she would like to meet Bob Ross. She thinks that he seems like he would be an interesting person.

Enjoy your last year of high school and best of luck in your future endeavors!
