ANDES CENTRAL SENIOR HIGHLIGHT

By
Alyssa Mathis

Cole Bergin is this week’s spotlighted Andes Central Senior. Cole is the son of Jayme and Wayne Jr. Bergin. He has one sister Callie, who is a freshman at Andes Central. Football and Future Farmers of America (FFA) are two activities that Cole has been a part of while in high school. His favorite class and teacher have been science taught by Mrs. Kristen Maynard. Walking tacos has been his favorite school lunch. Cole’s community service has included helping to manage a pheasant farm/hunting lodge. His advice for underclassmen would be to have fun and let loose.

After graduation, Cole plans to attend Mitchell Technical College and major in Agricultural Business. When he graduates, he will miss spending time with his friends the most. One memory that will stay with Cole will be the homecoming weeks at Andes Central that he spent with his friends. Like most kids his age when he has free time, he usually spends it with his friends, that is when he is not working on the family farm. Ten years from now, Cole sees himself working with his dad, Junior, on the family farm and being a part time crop adjuster. The person who has had the most influence in Cole’s life was his grandma, Leona Bergin, who taught him many important life lessons. If he could meet any person living or deceased, it would be his Grandma Leona so that he could just talk to her about life. Enjoy your last year of high school and best of luck in your future endeavors.
