Andes Central School has announced its December Students of the Month, recognizing four students from kindergarten through high school for their positive attitudes, strong work ethic, and commitment to learning.
Honored this month are Wyatt Bennet, kindergarten; Suttyn Bergin, fourth grade; Apollo Red Hail, eighth grade; and Aiden Thompson, freshman.
In the K–2 category, kindergarten student Wyatt Bennet was recognized for his eagerness to learn and his respectful nature. Wyatt participates in daily classroom activities, completes his work, and is always willing to help classmates and show kindness to peers and adults alike.
Representing grades 3–5, Suttyn Bergin was selected for her caring attitude and dedication to her studies. Suttyn is known for her kindness, willingness to help others, and strong effort on assignments and tests. Teachers also praised her determination, noting her commitment to reading and learning even outside the classroom.
Middle school honoree Apollo Red Hail, an eighth grader, was recognized for his leadership, positive attitude, and strong academic performance. Apollo is consistently prepared for class, completes assignments on time, and treats classmates and staff with respect. A student-athlete, Apollo strives to improve by seeking feedback and leads by example, always ready to learn with a smile.
At the high school level, freshman Aiden Thompson earned recognition for his responsibility and engagement in class. Aiden is punctual, organized, and willing to help others. Teachers noted his thoughtful participation, strong work habits, and curiosity, as he regularly asks questions and seeks to fully understand the material before moving on.
Andes Central staff congratulated all four students, noting that each represents the school’s values of respect, responsibility, and a commitment to learning. The December Students of the Month serve as positive role models for students throughout the school.
