Kaylise Drappeau

This week’s featured Andes Central senior is Kaylise Drappeau. Kaylise is the daughter of Les and Brad Drappeau. Kaylise is one of ten children and her brothers and sisters include Taylen, Tahni, Scarlette, Bradly, Justin, Dean, Tobias, Kamia and Dominique. During her high school years at Andes Central, Kaylise participated in cheer for two years. Mr. Johnson is Kaylise’s favorite teacher and her favorite class is Street Law. Kaylise’s advice to underclassmen is “Don’t give up, keep trying your best and move forward, don’t get stuck.” Getting asked to prom was Kaylise’s most memorable high school memory. Even though she will not miss having to come to school anymore, she will miss her classmates since they are a good group of students to be around and could always make her laugh. The most inspiring person in Kaylise’s life is her dad, Brad, who inspires her everyday. When asked what Kaylise is most proud of, she said that she is most proud of herself for graduating high school. She will be the first of her siblings to earn a high school diploma. After graduation, Kaylise plans to take a gap year before she going to college. In ten years, she sees herself doing makeup for clients and maybe opening her own shop in the future.
