Dwight Wood Post #132 of Springfield is holding their third annual golf tournament on Saturday, August 10 at the Springfield Golf Course. This fun event is one of the ways that the Post uses to raise funds so that they can support various local projects like Boys State, Americanism programs in the local schools, flag disposals and other ways that emphasize their support of Americanism. Golfers will tee off at 9:30 after the Chaplain’s prayer, National Anthem, and gun salute. All golfers are welcome to be part of the tournament. We urge you to get a four-person team together and join us in a fun day of golfing. Costs are $50 per person and that includes a free noon lunch.
