Greer Unit #11, American Legion Auxiliary met on October 17, 2019 at the post home with members guests present.

The meeting was called to order by President Juanita Stone .

Chaplain Margie Stone opened with prayer

The Pledge of Allegiance and American Legion Auxiliary Preamble were recited in unison.

Minutes of the previous meeting were approved (or corrected) as read. The treasures report was given and approved (any questions/corrections). Motion was made to pay bills Motion carried.

Correspondence was read from District President Janice Coleman. A thank you from Dictionary Project was read.

Ronald McDonald House information on the Restore and Renovate project was presented.

Membership chairman Barbara Kucera reported on paid members. Goal is 84. Continue to send dues to Barbara Kucera

Community Service chairman Margie Stone reported appropriate cards had been sent.

Unfinished business: Thank you to all who donated for the District Legion Meeting and Cancer Rummage.

Thank you to Linda Youngbluth for delivering gifts to Hot Springs for Gift Shop.

New Business:

Veterans Day Program at the School. Wear vests if attending.

Motion was made for Make a Difference Day donation to Good Samaritan Center.

Education Week November 18-22, cookies to the school.

As there was no further business to come before the meeting, Chaplin Margie Stone read the prayer for peace and President Juanita Stone adjourned the meeting.
