On Tuesday, September 18 AC/DC traveled to Tripp to face off against TDA in girls volleyball action. AC/DC eventually won the match in 5 sets, 24-26, 25-18, 25-21, 19-25 and 15-6. The girls were led by Tyra Medicine Horn and Mackenzie Muckey recording 18 and 14 kills respectively. Brianna Duermier led the team recording 4 aces. On Saturday, the Thunder traveled East to take on Freeman Academy. AC/DC won the match in 4 sets, 16-25, 25-23, 25-16 and 25-21. The Thunder were again led by Tyra Medicine Horn in kills with 12, followed by Mackenzie Muckey and Isabel Pheifer with 9 a piece. Mackenzie also led the team in digs, with 25 and aces at 8. Next home game with be Tuesday, September 25 taking on Colome.
