Coach Larry Lucas praised the runners. “Everyone did their very best and I was real proud of their efforts. Anna really stepped it up in her last race as a high school senior. It was really great to see her earn a medal at State. It has been a privilege to work with these athletes this running season. They always conduct themselves as young adults whether in competition or when interacting with other athletes or fans.”
