One of this week’s featured Wagner Community School seniors is Abriana Leines. Abriana is the daughter of Lucy and Tracy Leines. During her years at WCS, Abriana has been a part of several extra-curricular activities including band (three years), track (three years), volleyball (four years), stats (three years), chorus (three years), student council (four years) and activities council (two years).

Abriana’s advice to underclassmen would be that freshman year is way too easy for you to be stressed out. Her best memory from high school would be playing hostage. Abriana’s pet peeve is when someone puts dirty dishes in the sink while she is doing the dishes. She does not understand why they cannot just put them on the side instead of directly into the sink. The person that Abriana admires the most is Shona Kocer. She admires Shona because Shona is a very opinionated person that does not let anyone have the last world. Abriana finds these qualities very inspiring.

Abriana’s favorite color is hot pink. Her favorite high school classes have been any classes taught by her favorite teacher Mrs. Brunsing. Grilled cheese and tomato soup are her favorite foods and Qdoba is her favorite restaurant. Her favorite vocal group is The Wallows and favorite singer is ATM it’s Childish Gambino. Jennifer Lawrence is her favorite actress. The movie, Mean Girls, is her favorite movie and The Summer I Turned Pretty is her favorite TV show. When Abriana is not busy with school or extra-curricular activities, she enjoys hanging out and spending time with her friends.

After graduation, Abriana plans to attend South Dakota State University and major in biology with the intentions of eventually getting into dental school.
