The Wagner, SD AARP Chapter 962 Meeting, Tuesday March 19, 2019, 12:30 p.m. was opened with Pres. Jane presiding and leading us all in saying the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.

Old Business: Last month’s business meeting was read by secretary Dona. Treasurer’s report was given by treasurer Janis. Motion to approve and correct was made by Janis and seconded by Roy.

New Business: AARP will have Bingo at the Wagner Good Samaritan Home April 9, 2019, Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. We plan to attend the circus in Mitchell at the Corn Palace on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 in the afternoon.

Our next meeting will be Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. Anyone is welcome to attend. Motion to approve was made by Virginia and seconded by Dorothy. The meetings are in the Park View Villa dining room. Motion to adjourn by Jo Ellen and seconded by Roy.

Easter: the commemoration of our Lord and savior Jesus’ resurrection. So much love that He has for us to take every kind of sin there is in this whole world upon Himself to sacrifice His body and blood for us on the cross, the most horrible death there is. So heart breaking for them who know and love Him. But what joy comes from this. The joy that we know as Christians who believe, will be saved from eternal death and will to live with our King of Kings and Lord of Lords eternally with Him in His heavenly home and our home, forever and ever.
