Southeastern South Dakota saw winter weather advisories all week. From the comments heard, most were not ready for snow and the forecast did not look good as the fog moved into the area Friday. Saturday afternoon the large flakes began to fall and add that to some chilly winds the drifts quickly built but thankfully, we didn't receive the predicted snow fall amounts as most areas received between 6-8" instead of the 8-14" forecasted.
