5TH AND 6TH GRADERS PUT ON BOOK PARADE AND PRESIDENTIAL WAX MUSEUM

By
Alyssa Mathis

The 5th and 6th graders put on a book parade and Presidential Wax Museum March 19th from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Wagner Community School Auxiliary gym. The 5th graders did a book parade. Each student read a book and then was asked to highlight certain parts of the story and create a book ball. At the event, the students shared what book they read and talked about different aspects of the book. The 6th graders put on a Presidential Wax Museum where each student did a presentation on an individual United State’s President. Their presentations included facts about each president, pictures, etc. all neatly put together on a large poster board. Again, people could stop at each student’s table and ask questions or engage with the students about their chosen president.
