I graduated from Selby High School in 1978 and DSU in 1984. With this being my 36th year of teaching,

I began my career in Veblen and am currently employed by the Greenwood Colony which is in the Tripp School District.

Brad and I have two children: Megan and Nick. Megan is married to Brand Heyden and they have two children: Havorly, age 6, and Henry, age 1. Megan is a Nurse Practitioner in Gregory and Brand is a rancher. They live south of Burke. Nick is married to Brooke Doty. Nick is a financial advisor and Brooke is an Occupational Therapist. They reside in Springdale, Arkansas.

I have coached all sports in the upper elementary, junior high and junior varsity and volunteered doing results and the Avon Track Meets for about 25 years. I enjoy softball, walking/running, and watching sports with my husband.

It has been an honor and privilege to receive this award.
