“Together we unite and hope for a cure” is the theme of the 14th annual Wagner Cancer Walk. The annual Walk is back after a scaled down version last year because of the pandemic.

This year's Cancer Walk will be held Saturday, August 7 at Wagner Lake. The Walk will begin with the brat supper at 6:00. At approximately 7:15, we will take a picture of area cancer survivors/fighters, followed by a release of balloons provided by the Cancer Walk committee.

Following the survivors balloon release, there will be an Empty Chair service to remember those who have lost loved ones to cancer this past year.

The Cancer Walk volunteers would like to extend an invitation to residents of surrounding counties who have lost someone during this last year to come and join us in honoring those we have lost.

There will be balloons available to purchase to release in memory of your loved one.

The ABATE motorcycle club will then lead us on our first walk around the lake.

Free root beer floats will be provided by the Pink Ladies.

At dusk there will be fireworks provided by Bouza Construction. Bring your lawn chairs and spend the evening.
