ZONA ROBSAHM

Funeral services for Zona Robsahm, 93, of Sioux Falls were held Friday, February 10 at the First Presbyterian Church in Avon. Burial was in the Trinity Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Avon. Peters Funeral Chapel in Avon was in charge of arrangements.

Zona Louise Robsahm was born September 9, 1929 in rural Avon, the daughter of Paul C. And Louise (Ritter) Raysby. She died Monday, February 6, 2023 at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls.

Zona graduated from Avon High School in 1947 and attended one year of college in Mitchell.

Zona was united in marriage to Leon Robsahm on September 4, 1952 at the Congregational Church in Mitchell.

Zona worked as a waitress, a receptionist for a doctor and was a hard worker who helped in all aspects of their grocery store.

Zona was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Church and her faith were very important to her.

Zona will be remembered for her love of going on walks, crocheting, drawing and coloring. The family has great memories of singing many songs in four part harmony while they traveled in the car while going on trips. Zona was a wonderful mother.

Thankful for having shared her life are her husband Leon E. Robsahm of Sioux Falls, son Mark D. (Shelley) Robsahm of Mandan, ND; daughter Renee V. Koupal of Sioux Falls; four grandchildren: Steven (Chelsy) Robsahm, Geoffrey (Pam) Robsahm, Juli (Rudie) Martinson and Emily (Kain) Allford; and four great grandchildren.

Zona was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Brett Koupal, and five brothers: Lawrence, Thorwald, Gordon, Noel and Neil Raysby.
