Virginia Slusher (nee Engel) died peacefully on January 9th at the age of 88. She is survived by her husband Bill of Overland Park, KS, son William (Jeff Walkwitz) of KCMO, daughter Marti Lucero (Mike) and grandson Matthew of Austin.
Virginia was born in Canova to Herbert and Mabel Engel. She married Bill in 1955 and worked many years at Quality Controlled Services in KS. She was an avid reader, bridge player and loved the history of her hometown Lake Andes and the rebuilding of the Engel hotel.
