PHYLLIS HOLEC

Phyllis Marie Holec, 87, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Eastern Star Masonic Retirement Campus with Dementia and Pneumonia.

She was born in Wagner to Charles and Louise Hollenbeck. She married Ernie Holec in 1952 and they had one daughter, Cynthia. They moved to Denver, CO in 1959 after Ernie's service in the Army. Phyllis worked at multiple jobs, but she enjoyed being a Mortgage Loan Processer the best.

She loved dancing, traveling and being a social butterfly visiting friends and family. She is survived by her sister, Carol Mae Morrow of Wagner, her daughter, Cindy (Scott)

Winters of Lakewood, CO, two granddaughters: Kristen (Matt) Beshany, and Stephanie (Troy) Johnson, of Littleton, CO, as well as two great-grandaughters, numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid19 pandemic and the need for social distancing and masks, there will be a Memorial/Celebration of Life August 21st at 12:15 p.m., at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Committal Shelter C, with a social distancing picnic following at Bear Creek Park (five minutes away). In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Eastern Star Masonic Retirement Campus in memory of her.
