Pearl Reisch passed away October 28th, 2018. A memorial service is planned for next spring in Rapid City.

Pearl L. Reisch, born Pearl L. Holec, on May 14, 1948 in Wagner, grew up on a farm south of Dante and moved to Rapid City to attend business school and enter the workforce. She ended her working career as a Lighting Specialist at Crescent Electric in Rapid City. She met her future husband, Dan, while attending college. After a 20 month delay for his deployment in Vietnam, they married on July 3, 1969 and lived in Rapid City until retirement. Never adjusting to cold temperatures she and her husband spent winters in Arizona and summers in their cabin in Hisega. Pearl was well liked and respected and everybody loved her energetic personality. Few people could keep up with her when she set her mind to something. She took her God-parenting role seriously, always attending their milestones. Becoming a Nana to a little granddaughter was heaven sent to her and she passed peacefully with her in her heart.

Honored to be a part of her life were her husband of 49 years, Dan, her brother Butch Holec (Bea), nephew Jim Holec, niece Jodie Rufledt (Doug), and nephew Bill Holec (Jennifer) and five special grand nieces and nephews. Special in the last years were Brandy and Stephen Gregory and granddaughter Hadley Jade Gregory.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Millie Holec.
