Pamela Jean Frandsen was born on May 21, 1952, in Pickstown. She was the daughter of Ejner and Alyce (Brodsky) Frandsen. Pam then graduated from Andes Central High School with the class of 1970 before later continuing her education as a nurse at Mitchell Technical School in Mitchell.
