Martha Mae Gengler, 97, was born November 1st, 1927, and passed away July 26, at Good Samaritan Society-St. Martins Village. A beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She was born to James and Emma Moysis in Kimball. She met her husband, Paul Gengler, and they were married on December 15, 1946, in Wagner. They had five children. Susan, Dean, Barbara, Paula, and Bob. Martha was a woman of beauty and strength. Her smile radiated and she loved everyone she met. She always gave a compliment and a smile. She loved her kids and grandchildren. She had a great will to live for her kids. She had many friends at St. Martins Village also. She was crowned "Pheasant Queen" in Wagner two years in a row. She worked in a bakery, clothing store, and as a waitress. She loved to write letters and send cards. She looked forward to Bingo with her friends, getting her hair done, dressing nice, and wearing makeup. She enjoyed sewing, dancing, reading, gardening, politics, cats, flowers, baking, and lawn work. She was involved in the Methodist Women's Circle and taught Sunday School. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers and four sisters. Martha is survived by her sons; Dean (Suzan) and Robert (Nancy). Daughters: Susan (Michael), Barbara (Denny) and Paula (Ronald). She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Lisa, Heidi, Heather, Amber, Brook, Ben, and Laura, and also nine great-grandchildren.
