Lewis B. Dillon, 82, of Wichita Kansas, died Wednesday, February 24th, 2021 at Medicalodge Goddard Kansas. Graveside services in Brookings are pending.

Lewis was born January 29, 1939 to Christine Bechtold and Patrick Harvey Dillon in HallsvilleTX. Lewis joined the US Navy in 1956 and was Honorably Discharge in 1974. He served on the USS Tang (submarine), served in Hawaii, Japan and Vietnam. After retirement he ran the Gamble Store in Lake Andes. He was also a Grants writer and Convenience Store manager. He graduated from DWU in his later years. He loved fishing, hunting, vacationing and being with his family.

Lewis was a member of the VW, Legion, the Fleet Reserve Association and the PVA. He was also a member of the Presbretarian Church of Lake Andes.

Lewis is survived by his wife Patricia, 3 sons - Robert and John Dillon of Wichita, KS, John Brown of Noatak, AK, 3 daughters - Virginia Abdo of Mitchell, Debra Deglman of Tripp and Dawn Kebert of Mulvane, KS. Lewis left behind 21 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren, a sister Ann Balson of Dallas, TX and a brother Patrick Dillon of Bel Alton, MD. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, motherin-law and son. He was truly loved by his family and shall be greatly missed.
