LAWRENCE 'LARRY' KELLY

Funeral service for Lawrence 'Larry' Kelly, 81, of Armour, will be Friday, November 4 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Armour with burial following in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Stickney. Visitation will be Thursday, November 3, from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Armour with a wake service at 8:00 p.m.

Lawrence 'Larry' Kelly was born on August 11, 1941 to Francis and Erma (Thiltzen) Kelly in Corsica. He attended Stickney High School. He met Clairce Homolka at Rest Haven in Lake Andes and the couple were married on January 28, 1972 at St. John's Catholic Church in Wagner. They lived in Alexandria, Lake Andes, Wagner, Verdigre, NE and Armour where Larry worked as a farm hand to various farmers. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Armour and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed watching RFD TV, tractors and taking drives in the country. He died on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Good Samaritan Society in Wagner at the age of 81.

He is survived by his wife, Clairce Kelly of Armour, three sons, Randall Kelly of Mitchell, Robert Kelly of Mitchell and Rick (Bekka) Kelly of Mount Vernon, three grandchildren, Anthony, Breanna and Clair Kelly, three step-grandchildren, Cody Muilenburg, Jesse Muilenburg and D.J. Galpin, foster granddaughter, Calista Harrison, four brothers, Tom (Shirley) Kelly of Rochester, MN, Ron (Delores) Kelly of Mitchell, Bill (Judy) Kelly of Mitchell and Harold (Billie) Kelly of Mitchell and sister, Mary Alexander of Mitchell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim Kelly.
