JOHN FEATHER JR.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 9 at the YST South Gym in Wagner. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

John Bernard Feather Jr. was born October 26, 1956 in Wagner to John Bernard Feather Sr. and Elizabeth Ramona Raymond who both reside in Marty.

John attended Marty Indian School then he went on to go to Art School in Santa Fe, New Mexico and he also attended the Art Institute in Minneapolis, MN. He was a deeply talented artist who let his artwork speak for themselves with the many meaningful details he had in his work.

His artwork was seen by many and had left an everlasting impression on his audience as he was the kind of artist who truly believed in what he painted.

John died Monday, September 4, 2023 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN. He will be dearly missed by his family and loved ones.

He is survived by his sons Dakota Feather of New Mexico and Youngston Feather of Minnesota; sisters: Debbie Raymond, Crystal Feather, Darla Feather, Judy Johnson, Questa Feather, Nancy Broodand, and Terrie Nom; brothers: Abram Teisegen, Garfield Death, and Kelly Feather.
