Funeral Services for Jessica Ann Costello, (Grace Atana Hart) 37, of Lake Andes were Friday, March 13 at the White Swan Community Center. Burial was in St. Phillips Episcopal Cemetery, Lake Andes. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Jessica Ann Costello aka Grace Atana Hart “Tate Omani Win — Walking With The Wind Woman” was born to Theresa Hart and Jesse Costello-Gassman onJuly28,1982 at the Wagner IHS Hospital. She died Friday, March 6, 2020 at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls.

Jessica attended both Andes Central and Marty Indian School, where she made several friends and some of whom eventually became family to her. At a young age, she helped take care of several of her nieces, nephews, grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and had a big heart. Jessica loved music, clothes, fashion and cosmetology. She always had her nails done and she had a fashionable style, making sure that her earrings and purse matched her outfit and shoes. For several years, she worked as a hostess and waitress while she was raising a family of her own.

Jessica has six children with Jeremy Honomichl, of whom she loved with all her heart: Valessa Storm, Kaylise Tiffani, Lincoln James, Makenzie Jordan, Champ Jessen and Jrace Legend. She was so proud of her children and all of their accomplishments. She enjoyed watching movies with her children, especially on Saturday nights. She and her kids spent most of their days together playing at the park, going on long walks and joking with one another. Jessica will be terribly missed by her children and Jeremy.

She is precededin death by her sister Jasmine D. Hart, maternal grandparents Vivian and Delmer Arrow; paternal grandparents Florence Crawford and Joseph Costello; Auntie Mom Henrietta Hart, Auntie Gina Luke; Uncle Mike Costello; Auntie Bobby Jo Crawford; and many relatives too numerous to name.

Jessica leaves behind her parents; her second mom Su Gassman; her sisters: Camille Jones of Wagner, Jessica Bruguier-Little of Marty, Tara Big Eagle of Mandaree, ND, Lauren Kiyukan of Mitchell; and brothers: Cornelious Jones Jr. and Jesse Costello Jr. of Lake Andes, and Daryl Jandreau of Wagner. She also leaves to mourn her children, nieces, nephews, cousins, takojas and several friends and relatives.
