Evelyn Marie Faller died Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Powerback Rehabilitation in Lakewood, CO at the age of 92.

Evelyn Marie Faller was born in Armour on May 14, 1926, the daughter of Herman and Sadie (Jordon) Johnson. Sadie passed away in 1939. To their union two children were born: Evelyn Marie Johnson and Donald Herman Johnson. On November 19, 1941 Herman Johnson married Vera Dunn at Crookston, MN.

Evelyn grew up the oldest of four siblings on the family farm near Armour. She attended rural school and graduated from Armour High School in 1944.

She then went to Nebraska to work at a Munition Depot where she loaded gun powder into rocket-heads for the War Department.

It was there that she met and married Travis Barnett. They had one daughter Sheila. They later divorced and a few years later she married Ed Faller of Armour. She then worked at the mink farm, Armour Hospital, and was a farmer's wife with eight children blessed to their union.

Then they moved to Northglenn, CO, where she made draperies for 20 years with Deleen Draperies. She was also a tile distributor for Elm and worked at Woolworth's as a waitress. She was a member of the Beta Signa Phi Sorority for 30 years of dedication.

Thankful for having shared her life are her children: Sheila Paston of Sun City, AZ, Rick (Donna) Faller of Columbia Falls, MT, Brinda (Larry) Tritz of Phoenix, AZ, Debbie Faller of Denver, CO, Keith (Norma) Faller of Sheridan, CO, Kathy (John) Martin of Castle Pines, CO, Nancy Faller of Wheat Ridge, CO; one brother, Larry Johnson of Lake Andes; 18 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear family and many friends.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ed, two daughters: Cindy McMaster and Jeannine Faller; two grandsons: John Makatura, Lonnie Blood, Donald Johnson and Rodney Johnson.

Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery in Thornton, CO was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Olinger Highland Cemetery.
