Funeral Services for Clifford Kleinsasser, 89, of Wagner, formerly of Redfield were Friday, December 7 at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner. Cliff was cremated after the funeral and burial will take place at a later date in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Redfield.

Clifford Kleinsasser was born August 3, 1929 at Hitchcock to Andrew and Anna (Glanzer) Kleinsasser. He died Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Society in Wagner.

Cliff graduated from Hitchcock High School in 1947. Cliff married Lodema Saugstad at Pipestone, MN . He farmed south of Frankfort and moved to Red-field in 1960 where he worked for Fritz’s Body Shop. Cliff married Delores (Mowery) Benton. He later co-owned and worked at Redfield Body and Alignment for 13 years. Cliff worked for SDDC for 16 years as a Fabrication Tech, retiring in 2005.

Cliff will be remembered for his love of spending time at Cottonwood Lake, dancing, teaching kids to water ski, boating, laughing with old friends, his sense of humor, and of course his plaid shirts! All of his grandchildren would always get sticks of Juicy Fruit gum taped in cards that he sent them.

Cliffwas a member of the Red-field Volunteer Fire Department and the Lions Club.

Survivors include his daughters Konnie (Randy) Anderson of Sioux Falls, LeAnn (Mark) Griffin of Sioux Falls and Kristi (Jim) Beeson of Dante; five grandchildren: Nikkole Griffin, Davlyn Griffin, Aaron Beeson, Abigail Beeson and Jillian Beeson; and one brother, Guy (Marge) Kleinsasser of Norfolk, NE; and many nieces and nephews.

Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and grandson Brett Andrew Beeson.
