Bruce L. Dejong left us January 7th, 2023 due to an accident snowmobiling at age 58. Bruce was born February 18th, 1964 in Springfield. He left his hometown and moved to Colorado. Bruce loved cabinetry/building. He was an excellent woodworker and could build anything; he had an eye for detail. He later started his own business and worked as a supervisor in the construction industry. He loved helping others and was very outgoing. He loved his Harley Davidson, Sturgis, hunting, snowmobiling, reloading ammo and 4x4ing. Preceding him in death were his dad Gerald, his stepdad Joe, his infant brother Russell and his grandparents. Bruce left his soul mate/fiancé Becky, Daughter Danielle, Stephan (Danielle's fiancé), his mother Janice Schneider, Mike and Madison (Becky’s twins), dear friends Steve and Carol VandeKop, uncles, aunts and several cousins along with many dear friends. Knowing he left us doing what he loved and where he was at in life may bring peace to us all. God Bless his memories. Please join us in a celebration of life to share memories of a man that touched us all, February 25, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Springfield Community Center.
