Betty will be remembered for enjoyment of working outside and in her garden. She gave away most of what she grew. She went for many walks and enjoyed reading, especially western books. Betty liked to bake specifically homemade bread. It brought Betty much joy to see pictures of the grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Betty was always taking care of someone.

Thankful fo having shared her life: daughters Diane (Vernon) Klein of Herrick and Terri (Dale) Bitterman of Parkston; son Danny (Sandy) Honomichl of Wagner; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Jerry; parents Ben and Bertha Giedd; and sisters: Ida Honomichl, Fern Fechrer, and Beverly Giedd.
