Annette Roubideaux, age 81 of Yankton, passed away Monday, February 3, 2020 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton of natural causes. Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, February 7, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Yankton. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Yankton. Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & On-site Crematory in Yankton was in charge of arrangements. On line condolences may be sent at: www.opsahl-kostelfuneralhome.com.

Annette was born July 15, 1938 in Greenwood to Henry and Rebecca (Selwyn) Drapeau. Annette married the love of her life, Eugene Roubideaux in 1955 and soon after they moved to Yankton.

Annette resided in Yankton where she raised her family and worked at Sacred Heart Hospital for many years. Annette enjoyed spending time with her family, word finds and was an avid bingo player with an impressive collection of daubers. Annette’s greatest joy in life was her family. Annette often hosted family and holiday gatherings. While her home was not big, there was always enough room for family and friends.

Annette is survived by her children: Janelle Frazier, Gloria (Mitch) Roubideaux, Eugene Jr. Roubideaux, Clay (Marcia) Roubideaux, Karl (Candace) Roubideaux, Nannette Taylor, Jeremy Roubideaux and Christopher Roubideaux. Annette was blessed with 20 grandchildren and a small fortune (36) of great grandkids that filled her later years with laughter and joy.

Annette was proceeded in death by her husband, Eugene Roubideaux a US Army Special Forces Ranger who served in WWII; three daughters: Nannette Renae, Cecily Rae and Jacqueline and son, Harold.
