ALICE ARCHAMBEAU

A wake service will be held Thursday, January 1, 2026 at the YST South Housing Gym at 7:00 p.m. There will be a Celebration of Alice’s Life at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, at the YST South Housing Gym and after her service she will be laid to rest at the Holy Fellowship Episcopal Cemetery at Greenwood. Following the service there will be a meal at the gym.

Alice Marie Archambeau, 66, of Wagner, was born October 31, 1959 to Clarence Archambeau Sr. and Ramona Provost Archambeau at Wagner. Alice passed away Monday, December 22, 2025 at Yankton.

Alice leaves behind two daughters, Ashley Morrow and Martina Weddell of Sioux City, Iowa; and one son Mike Weddell Jr., of Sioux City, Iowa; one brother, Francis Archambeau, of Langford. Alice also leaves behind grandchildren, cousins, and friends.

Preceding Alice in death are her mother and father, brother Clarence Archambeau Jr. (Sonny), sister Jeanie Archambeau, half brother Jim Bruguier and special friend Rodney “Marge' Gunhammer, and two cherished nephews Eric Archambeau and Faron Doney.

Alice attended school in Wagner. She enjoyed cookouts in the summer, gardening and watching her favorite TV shows. She had her favorite pets including her dog Georgie.

Honorary Urn bearers will be her children and grandchildren, her brother Francis, and her friends and relatives.
