Read moreThe evening of Sunday, August 11th was an evening filled with hugs, laughs and many tears. On that evening the family of Braxton Kreber was presented with a beautiful bench. The bench was given to the family from the Class of 2028 in honor of their recently passed classmate, Braxton Kreber. The bench boasts a plaque that has the inscription “A true friend is never truly gone. Their spirit lives on in the memories of those who loved them.” The class of 2028 not only gave Mike and Amy the beautiful bench, but also gave them a card with a monetary donation and an amazing bouquet of flowers from the Colleen Martin family. There was also a Peter’s family reunion being held at Wagner Lake that Sunday. Amy’s family members wanted to be a part of the celebration and support Braxton’s classmates. They served root beer floats and passed out memorial bracelets, to thank Braxton’s classmates. Almost half of the 2028 class was able to come out to the Wagner Lake to attend the presentation of the bench to the family with 24 of the 55 members of the class there. The class of 2028 started their freshman year of high school this past Thursday, August 15th missing Braxton’s radiant smile.
