Read moreIn May the Bargain Shoppe gave $2,000 to Good Samaritan Society-Tyndall. In June the Bon Homme 4-H program was given $500. In July the Snack Pack/Back Pack Programs in Tyndall, Avon and Scotland received $2,000 each. In August the elementary teachers in Avon and Scotland were given $600. The Bon Homme 4-2 Elementary teachers (five schools) received $2,600. In September $1,000 was given to each of the libraries in the five communities in Bon Homme County. The Bargain Shoppe, which opened in 2007, is a non-profit thrift store run totally by volunteers. The volunteers log an average of 250 to 325 hours a month to keep the Shoppe running. The store hours are Wednesday's 10-4, Thursday's 3-6 and the second Saturday of each month 9-12. Please watch our facebook page for additional pop up open hours this fall. Donations of gently used, clean items can be dropped off during business hours only.
