Wagner High School Theater performed Game of Tiaras, a comedy by Don Zolidis, on Friday and Saturday night. Eleven students in grades 6-12 made their theater debut, performing live for the first time. The play told the story of an Old King who wanted to split his kingdom between his three princess daughters. Prince Charming (Caleb Zephier) and the French Prince (Charlie Kocer) came to save the day and get their princess to the throne to grab power. Other princesses came to try and claim the tiara and the power, but in the end, only one princess was left standing! Our princesses practiced their lines and their sword-fighting skills while learning to wear wigs and full ball gowns. Actors stepped up into additional roles without hesitation when some students could not perform. An entire crew of volunteer teachers and students stepped in to construct the sets, create props, make banners, and paint. This year, we included a middle school crew to help us get ready for our performances. Bella Kreber, a senior, earned her Four-Year Theater Pin for her involvement in theater for her whole high school career. We are proud of the cast and crew! More photos on page 8.
